InterContinental Seoul COEX and Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas

Through Aug. 31: The hotels announced their plan to present summer premium bingsu (shaved ice) in the lobby lounge on the first floor of the hotel until August 31. The Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu using two or more of Jeju Island's apple mangos will be available in limited quantities per day, and the Mugwort Bingsu that reinterprets K-ingredients will be the first unveiled in the hotel industry. Tomato Bingsu, which will debut for the first time ever, boasts both a sweet and sour taste and boosts your health, with a unique flavor of tomato marinated in preserved Yuja (citron) juice for more than 24 hours.

The Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu presented at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas Lobby Lounge is decorated with Opalys Chantilly Cream, Valrhona White Chocolate and a mango-shaped sorbet using the highest quality Jeju apple mangos, which will be sold in limited quantities per day to maintain excellence. The Mugwort Bingsu, first unveiled in 2019, has established itself as a steady and popular bingsu. It boasts both taste and nutrition with a variety of nuts and injeolmi (rice cake with soybean powder) with a perfect blend of mugwort pavé chocolate, mugwort ice cream, sweet red beans and mugwort condensed milk. The vegan bingsu, which was first launched in the hotel industry last year, is refurbished to Avocado Vegan Bingsu this summer through the Intercontinental Chef Contest. It features a ripe avocado resting on an avocado-shaped dessert using coconut and tofu sitting on snowflake-like shaved ice made from coconut, topped with ripe avocado on lime sorbet, to reflect “healthy pleasure” trends. The Signature Mugwort Bingsu and Avocado Vegan Bingsu are also available as a serving for one.

InterContinental Seoul COEX Lobby Lounge launched Tomato Bingsu with a fresh, healthy taste that takes 30 hours of devotion to be served. It presents four or more kinds of healthy cherry tomatoes including Green and Daejeo tomatoes, marinated with preserved citron juice for more than 24 hours to increase their absorption of lycopene, an antioxidant nutrient, served with yogurt gelato. In addition, Mango Bingsu is served with mango sorbet and mango pearls on well-ripened mango flesh. The Coffee Bingsu is served with vanilla ice cream, Lotus paste, coffee cookie crumble, and nuts, with freshly brewed Illy espresso, which is also available in a decaffeinated version. All three types of Bingsu are also available as a serving for one. A ten percent discount is offered on Bingsu reserved through Naver for the month of May.
