JYP Entertainment released a poster on Thursday to tease Twice member Nayeon’s first solo EP “IM NAYEON,” which will drop on June 24.
According to the label, the name of the EP, “IM NAYEON,” has a double meaning as it stands for her real name, which is Im Na-yeon, and also expresses her “confidence as a solo artist and stating ‘I’m Nayeon.’”
Fans can reserve Nayeon’s debut EP from 1 p.m. on May 24. The EP drops at 1 p.m. on June 24.
Nayeon debuted in 2015 as a member of girl group Twice. The girl group recently wrapped up a six-month-long world tour with two encore concerts in Los Angeles last week.
Twice’s debut EP was “The Story Begins” with lead track “Like Ooh-Ahh.” The group became widely popular with the song “Cheer Up” (2016) and has since released hits like “TT” (2016), “Feel Special” (2019) and “Alcohol-Free” (2021). The group’s eight other members are: Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu.
