Big Hit Music said Friday that BTS's latest album "Proof" (2022) has sold a total of 2,752,496 copies, according to data by the Korean music chart Hanteo, from June 10 to June 16.
“It’s the top-selling album so far this year and the second best-selling BTS album in terms of sales in the first week,” Big Hit Music said.
BTS’s fourth full-length album “Map of the Soul: 7” (2020) had sold some 3.37 million copies during its first week of sales.
“Proof” sold 2.15 million copies on June 10 alone, which is when the album dropped.
On Japan’s Oricon chart, BTS ranked No. 1 for its Daily Albums chart on June 13, selling around 464,000 copies. It is also No. 1 for the Weekly Digital Albums chart for the week of June 20.
“Proof” is an anthology album with the lead track “Yet To Come.”
