It is the first time in 21 years for Korea to host the biggest aviation conference in the Asia Pacific region. Won in the opening speech said he hopes that the conference will serve as an opportunity for the global aviation industry to rebound. As Covid-19 has been calming down and countries lower their boarder regulations, the aviation industry has been seeing a surge in international flight demand. The conference will last through Friday. This is the fourth time for Korea to host the conference. Delegates from 41 countries including Hong Kong and Macao is attending this year’s conference. [YONHAP]
