Veteran outfielder Choo Shin-soo of the SSG Landers hit the first walk-off home run of his KBO career on Tuesday, leading the Incheon club to a 4-3 win over the Lotte Giants at Incheon SSG Landers Field in Incheon.

Choo's game-ending homer came as the Landers took to the field wearing their special No Brand Burger uniforms to mark three years since the burger brand, owned by parent company Shinsegae, was launched.

With the score tied at 3-3, Choo stepped up to the plate at the bottom of the ninth with two outs, facing Lotte closer Kim Won-jung.

Kim threw three forkballs in a row, recording two strikes and one ball. Pitch No. 4 turned out to be one forkball too many, with Choo jumping on the ball to send it low over the outfield, past the outstretched hand of Lotte outfielder Jeon Jun-woo and over the wall. The two-out big fly put the Landers up by one run, ending the game.

The win puts the Landers on a five-game winning streak, allowing them to hold on to a 1.5 game lead over the Kiwoom Heroes, who are in the middle of a nine-game winning streak of their own. The Heroes also enjoyed a ninth-inning come-from-behind victory over the Doosan Bears on Tuesday, scoring three runs in the ninth after some clumsy fielding opened the floodgates for the visitors.

The distinctive mustard yellow uniforms that the Landers played in on Tuesday are the latest in a string of corporate limited run jerseys that the team has tried out. In collaboration with owner Shinsegae, which also owns supermarket chain Emart, big box store Emart Traders, electronics store Electromart, convenience store Emart24 and a number of restaurants and cafes.

Last month, the Landers played a few games in a distinctive green Starbucks uniform, another brand owned by Shinsegae in Korea.
