Rain forecast nationwide from Friday to Monday

Rain is forecast nationwide from Friday to Monday with daytime highs of up to 34 degrees Celsius (93 degrees Fahrenheit), the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said Thursday.

According to the KMA, rain is forecast as a low pressure system from the east will meet a high pressure system from the west over the Korean peninsula this weekend.

The lowest temperature on Friday morning is expected to be between 20 and 24 degrees Celsius, and the highest temperature during the day is expected to be between 28 to 34 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures during the weekend will see lows of 21 to 24 degrees Celsius and highs of 27 to 32 degrees Celsius.
