Korea's daily Covid cases down to 80,000s

New confirmed Covid-19 cases in Korea on Thursday slowed down from the previous day to 88,384, a decrease of more than 10,000.
On Wednesday, the number had shot up to above 100,000.
The average of new cases over the past week remains greatly unchanged at 75,188. Health authorities Wednesday announced new guidelines and measures for preventing the spread of the virus with this resurgence.
Patients in serious condition numbered 196, and there were 25 deaths.
