Hyundai Heavy Industries records operating loss of 108.3 billion won in Q2

Hyundai Heavy Industries announced in its regulatory filing Friday that its operating loss recorded 108.3 billion won ($83.4 million) in the second quarter of this year, a significant decrease compared to the same period last year when the company recorded an operating loss of 422.7 billion won.
Sales for Hyundai Heavy Industries in the second quarter were 2.16 trillion won, an increase of 11.3 percent compared to the same period last year. The company’s net loss narrowed to 64.7 billion won.
