Korea's Covid-19 cases stay in 80,000s for second day in a row

Korea recorded 85,320 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 on Friday, the second day this week that the number remained in the 80,000s after breaking 100,000 on Wednesday.
The average for the past week rose slightly to 77,571.
The accumulative total of confirmed cases amounted to 19,620,517.
Patients in serious condition nearly doubled to 234, and 35 more deaths were confirmed.
