New girl group NewJeans’ lead track “Attention” made its debut on Billboard’s Global chart, nine days after the song's release.

According to the Billboard’s latest chart update on Tuesday, “Attention” landed at No. 174.

The global chart excludes songs from the United States. “Attention” is one of the lead tracks from the girl group’s debut EP “New Jeans.”

NewJeans, a new girl group under HYBE's independent music label ADOR, debuted on Aug. 1 with the EP “New Jeans.” Since its release, the songs on the EP have been breaking records, landing high on both local and international music charts like MelOn, Bugs Music and iTunes.

The EP consists of four songs: “Attention,” “Hype Boy,” “Cookie” and “Hurt.”

The girl group also recorded the most first-week sales of any debut album by a Korean girl group. According to the label, it sold more than 440,000 copies in preorders. The previous record was 307,450 copies, set by Le Sserafim with its first EP, "Fearless."

NewJeans is comprised of five members: Kim Min-ji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Lee Hye-in. Danielle is from Australia and Hanni is from Vietnam, while the rest of the members are Korean. The group's name refers to both a pair of jeans and the word "gene."
