ENA’s hit drama series “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” which comes to an end on Aug. 18, will return for a second season.

Astory, the production company behind the series said it plans to produce the second season of the drama series “thanks to the love and support from the viewers.”

Lee Sang-baek, the head of the company told Edaily, a local news outlet on Wednesday that the company hopes to air season 2 in 2024, however, “adjusting the schedule with the cast and the production staff in order to make it happen is not easy.”

Lee confirmed that there will be no changes to the cast or the production staff, explaining that is why it takes time to plan the filming schedules for actors who have other work lined up.

The storyline of the series, which revolves around a genius lawyer with autism spectrum disorder named Woo Young-woo, played by Park Eun-bin, has been praised by audiences as well as the many of the lead characters such as Kang Ki-young, who plays senior lawyer Jeong Myeong-seok and Joo Hyun-young, who plays Woo’s best friend Dong Geurami.
