Kangta of H.O.T. to release fourth full-length album on Sept. 7
Kangta of ‘90s boy band H.O.T. will release his fourth full-length album “Eyes On You” on Sept. 7, according to SM Entertainment on Monday.
This is his first full-length album in 17 years since “Persona” (2005).
The upcoming album will consist of 10 tracks including a lead track of the same title. “Eyes On You” will be an R&B number with a sharp contrast between dramatic drum sounds and relaxed strings.
Kangta performed “Eyes On You” for the first time during Saturday’s “SMTOWN Live 2022 : SMCU Express @ Human City_Suwon” concert. This was K-pop powerhouse SM Entertainment’s first in-person collective concert in five years.
“It’s been a long time since I met the audience face to face in Korea,” Kangta said during Saturday’s concert. “It’s been a while since I dropped an album, so I’m glad to premier my new title track at this event.”
Kangta debuted in 1996 as a member of boy band H.O.T. and made his solo debut in 2001.
