Korea reported 150,258 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, a sharp rise from yesterday’s 59,046.  
 
The number of critically ill patients reached 487, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) Tuesday. There were 52 deaths.
 
The accumulative total of confirmed cases in Korea stood at 22,449,475.
