Jessi denies rumors of moving to Antenna agency

Singer Jessi, whose contract with agency P Nation was announced to have ended last month, denied rumors that she will be moving to Antenna, an agency which also represents popular entertainer Yu Jae-seok.

On Wednesday, some local media reports wrote that the singer and Antenna are “positively reviewing” a contract through which singer would go under the wing of the agency.

Antenna later denied the rumors, saying they have never even met with the singer.

The speculation is presumed to have been drawn from a scene on tvN’s variety show “Sixth Sense 3,” which aired in June, before Jessi’s contract with P Nation ended, where Jessi jokes to Yu that she is a mutli-entertainer who can “sing, rap, act, entertain and perform” and that she hopes to go to Antenna.

After the report, the singer uploaded a screen capture of an article saying she may be represented under Antenna on her Instagram story.

“Please don’t believe everything you read on the media,” she wrote. “TRUST ME you guys [fans] will be the first to know.”
