Korea's new COVID-19 cases fall below 50,000 on Monday

Korea reported 43,142 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, a fall from Sunday’s 85,295.  
 
The number of critically ill patients reached 597, the highest since late April, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency Monday. There were 49 deaths.
 
The accumulative caseload in Korea stood at 23,026,960.
