Man charged to 15 years in prison for raping 11 minors will be released next month

Kim Geun-sik, who was sentenced to 15 years in prison for raping 11 minors in 2006, is expected to be released next month, according to the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Thursday.
 
Kim was sentenced to prison for sexually assaulting 11 minors in Incheon's Seo District and Gyeyang District and in parts of Gyeonggi from May to September 2006.
 
The ministry will disclose Kim’s profile and home address on the Sex Offender Notice website on the day of his release. 
 
Kim will have to wear an electronic ankle bracelet and will be under 24-hour surveillance from the day of his release, according to the Ministry of Justice Ministry on Friday.
