Singer and actor Cha Eun-woo falls in love with a woman who turns into a dog in the upcoming drama series tentatively titled “A Good Day to Be a Dog.”
Cha’s agency Fantagio confirmed the news of his casting on Monday. Based on a popular Naver webtoon with the same title, the series is a fantasy romance between a woman who is cursed to turn into a dog whenever she kisses someone, and a man who is the only person who can break the curse but is afraid of dogs due to childhood trauma. Cha is cast as the male protagonist Jin Seo-won.
Cha begins filming for the series next month. The channel of the series and its airing has not been set yet.
Cha debuted in 2016 as a member of boy band Astro, known for songs "Crazy Sexy Cool" (2017), “Blue Flame” (2019) and “One” (2021). Cha has been active as a solo singer and actor and has starred as the lead role in the JTBC series "My ID is Gangnam Beauty" (2018), MBC's "Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung" (2019) and tvN's “True Beauty” (2020-21).
