A fire was reported at a Hyundai Steel facility in Incheon at 6:33 a.m. on Tuesday.
The fire was reported at an energy storage system used to charge batteries overnight for use during the day, according to Incheon Fire Department.
Authorities issued a "second stage response" at 7:24 a.m., requiring fire fighters from five or six different stations to respond to the fire.
No casualties have been reported as of 8:50 a.m.
