Kangta holds press conference ahead of releasing fourth album 'Eyes On You'
Kangta of ‘90s boy band H.O.T., held an online press conference a few hours prior to the release of his fourth full-length album “Eyes On You” at 6 p.m. Wednesday, saying that he won’t be able to believe it until the physical CD is in his hands. The album comes 17 years since his last full-length album, “Persona.”
“I’m so nervous at the same time, I feel so sorry to my fans as I haven’t been very active in my music career,” he said. “With the new release, I’ll make sure I work really hard, communicate and perform as much as I can.”
The album consists of 10 songs including title track “Eyes On You,” “Skip,” “Love Song,” “Bucket List,” “The One,” “Persona 2022” and “Freezing,” which he released as a single in March 2021 to mark the 25th anniversary of his debut.
“I tried to sing the songs using a different singing method that the fans are familiar with so that they can have a refreshing experience with my music,” he said. “I also worked with various artists, which was also quite new to me. It will definitely be a new kind of music.”
Kangta debuted in 1996 as a member of H.O.T. and went solo in 2001. Kangta is represented by SM Entertainment.
