Gyeongju man saves vehicles hit by floods from typhoon

A 28-year-old man living in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang saved a total of eight cars on Tuesday, when heavy downpours hit the region due to Typhoon Hinnamnor.
 
Koo Kang-min used his jeep to tow the cars in his neighborhood to safety.
 
According to Koo, off-road driving is his hobby.
 
“This kind of disaster should not happen again, but if it does, I will help out again,” said Koo. 
 
Some 110 millimeters (4.3 inches) of rain fell per hour in the Gyeongju region on Tuesday morning, submerging 350 households, according to the Gyeongju city hall.
