Filming begins for 'Possession' starring Kang Dong-won, Huh Joon-ho

Filming has begun for an upcoming movie tentatively titled “Possession” starring actors Kang Dong-won and Huh Joon-ho, according to distribution company CJ ENM on Monday.
The movie tells the story of a fake exorcist who is commissioned to solve the case of a young girl suffering from a powerful demonic possession. It is based on a 2014 Naver webtoon of the same title.
Kang plays the fake exorcist while Huh plays a spiritual hunter. Actors Lee Dong-hwi and Kim Jong-soo will also appear as Kang’s sidekick and business partner.
“Possession” will be the directorial debut of Kim Seong-sik, the assistant director behind films “Parasite” (2019) and “Decision to Leave” (2022).
