Won renews 13-year-plus low Wednesday, reaches 1,440.70 against the dollar

The won renewed another 13-year-plus low on Wednesday to reach 1,440.70 against the dollar.
The won dropped more than 1 percent from a day earlier.
The Kospi fell as low as 2,158.17 points, down 2.95 percent, and the Kosdaq more than 3.5 percent to 673.28 points.
