Kurly denies rumors of IPO postponement
Kurly, operator of the online grocery shopping and delivery service Market Kurly, denied rumors on Friday that the company would postpone its IPO.
In its statement, Kurly said it had not communicated any intention to delay the IPO with the Korea Exchange or any of its investors.
“After the approval of the listing request on Aug. 22, we are closely monitoring the market situation to promote the listing within the set time period,” Kurly's statement read.
However, industry insiders are continuing to express their doubts.
“If the market stagnation prolongs, there may be a possibility of withdrawing the listing,” an industry insider commented.
