Scandal-ridden bio firm Sillajen surged 29.47 percent from its opening price of 8,380 won ($5.90) to 10,850 won on Thursday. The company resumed stock trading the same day on Kosdaq after a two-and-a-half year suspension over executives' illegalities and other issues.
