Boy band Astro's concert film "Stargazer: Astroscope" will premier in theaters on Oct. 27, according to CGV Tuesday.
The movie documents "The 3rd Astroad to Seoul [Stargzer]," the group's third concert that was held at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in May. The film will feature individual performances of the boy band as well as behind-the-scenes footage of the concert.
The running time of the movie is 119 minutes, and the ticket price is 20,000 won ($14).
The movie will be released in 31 CGV theaters in Korea, including the Yongsan I'Park Mall branch and the Yeouido branch of CGV. It will also be released in 18 other countries, including the United States, Britain, Brazil and Mexico.
"We hope the audience enjoys Astro's performances through a wide screen and surround sound and see how the members prepared so hard for the concert through the member's interviews [in the movie]," said a spokesperson for CGV.
Astro debuted in 2016 with the lead track “Hide & Seek” from the EP “Spring Up.” The band has six members: MJ, JinJin, Moonbin, Rocky, Sanha and Cha Eun-woo. It is best known for songs “Crazy Sexy Cool” (2017), “Blue Flame” (2019), “Knock” (2020) and “One” (2021).
