BTS, Blackpink nominated for People's Choice Awards

Boy band BTS, its member Jungkook and girl group Blackpink have been nominated for this year's People's Choice Awards, a U.S. awards show that recognizes people in entertainment.

BTS was nominated in three categories: The Group of 2022, The Music Video of 2022 for "Yet To Come" (2021) and The Concert Tour of 2022 for "BTS Permission To Dance on Stage," according to a full list of 2022 People's Choice Awards nominees released on the awards website on Wednesday.

Jungkook was nominated for The Music Video of 2022 and The Collaboration Song of 2022. The nominations were both for "Left And Right" (2022), a collaborative track between Jungkook and Charlie Puth.

Blackpink was nominated for The Group of 2022 and The Music Video of 2022 for "Pink Venom" (2022).

Last year, BTS took three prizes home, including the best group of the year. Netflix series "Squid Game" (2021) won the Bingeworthy Show of 2021.

The awards will be broadcast live on Dec. 6.
