Twice's Jihyo to release song for soundtrack of 'Summer Strike'

Jihyo of girl group Twice will release a song for the soundtrack of ENA and Genie TV's new drama "Summer Strike” on Monday evening, according to music production company for the show Onesta. 
 
"A Strange Day" (translated) will be available on various music streaming platforms from 6 p.m.
 
In March, Jihyo released “Stardust love song” which was part of the soundtrack for tvN’s television drama series “Twenty Five Twenty One.” It was also her first solo song since her debut in 2015.
 
"Summer Strike” is a romance drama about characters who quit their jobs and lifestyles in the city and move to a rural town to take some time off. Actors Yim Si-wan and Seolhyun are set to lead the series. It will premiere Nov. 21 at 9:20 p.m., and release new episodes every Monday and Tuesday. 
 
Jihyo debuted through girl group Twice with the EP “The Story Begins” (2015) and the lead song “Like Ooh-Ahh.” The group became widely popular with the song “Cheer Up” (2016) and has since released hits like “TT” (2016), “Feel Special” (2019) and “Alcohol-Free” (2021). The group has nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu.
