Singer and actor Cha Eun-woo opened a personal YouTube channel Monday and released a teaser video on the same day.

In the teaser video, Cha and staff from his agency discuss plans for a new project and what to name his personal YouTube channel. They eventually settled on “Cha Eun-woo,” after considering names such as “Eun-woo and Cha-Cha-Cha.”

“I will try to show my fans more varied aspects of myself through this channel,” said Cha in the teaser video. “Please watch this channel with me.”

Cha, who is a member of boy band Astro, recently held his first personal fan meeting event in Seoul in September.

On Nov. 16, Cha’s silver screen debut film “Decibel” was released in theaters.

Cha debuted in 2016 as a member of boy band Astro, known for songs "Crazy Sexy Cool" (2017), “Blue Flame” (2019) and “One” (2021). Cha has been active as a solo singer and actor and has starred as the lead role in the JTBC series "My ID is Gangnam Beauty" (2018), MBC's "Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung" (2019) and tvN's “True Beauty” (2020-21).
