Korea records 59,089 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday

Korea recorded 59,089 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, up by more than 3,600 from the same day a week earlier, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
 
The number of critically ill patients was 477, remaining in the 400 level for the sixth day in a row. There were 59 deaths.
 
The accumulative total of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Korea stands at 26,784,142.
