Hana Financial Group said 36 female employees completed a five-month program called Hana WAVEs on Tuesday. The program, designed to nurture women leaders, celebrated its second anniversary this year.
During the training, the women enrolled in an online MBA program and took courses on leadership, strategy and communications.
Of the 34 people that participated in the program last year, four were made executives this year.
“Developing female leaders is the most important assignment in growing Hana Financial Group’s future,” said Chairman Ham Young-joo.
