Blackpink's 'Ice Cream' music video surpasses 800 million views

The music video for Blackpink’s song “Ice Cream” (2020) surpassed 800 million views on YouTube, according to the group’s agency YG Entertainment on Wednesday.

The feat was reached at around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, the agency said. The music video was released in August 2020.

Blackpink now has nine music videos that have accumulated more than 800 million views including the video for "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du" (2018) and "Kill This Love" (2019).

Blackpink is currently on a world tour.

The group recently concluded the North American leg of its tour on Nov. 20 at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles.

Blackpink will continue its world tour in seven cities in Europe through December. Next year, Blackpink will tour Asia and Oceania, ultimately meeting with some 1.5 million global fans, according to YG Entertainment.
