Amorepacific and Amorepacific Group appoint new presidents

New presidents were appointed to Amorepacific and Amorepacific Group on Monday.
 
Amorepacific appointed Kim Seung-hwan, president and CEO of Amorepacific Group, as its new president.
 
Ahn Se-hong resigned from his position as Amorepacific’s president and will work as an advisor to the cosmetics company.
 
Born in 1969, Kim studied business at Yonsei University and the University of Chicago, where he attended graduate school.
 
Kim started working for Amorepacific Group in 2006. He was appointed as CEO of Amorepacific Group last year, aiming to enhance business efficiency.
 
Working as the president of Amorepacific Group, Kim will continue to focus on increasing the cosmetics company’s overseas sales and work on expanding its business portfolio.
 
Lee Sang-mok, vice president of Amorepacific, was appointed president of Amorepacific Group.
 
Lee was born in 1970 and studied business at Yonsei University. He started his career in finance, working for Samjong KPMG, Deloitte Anjin and PwC Consulting between 1993 and 2003. He started working at Amorepacific in 2003, being part of the company’s finance and business management divisions.
