Presidential dogs

Two Pungsan dogs from former President Moon Jae-in at their new home at the zoo in Uchi Park in Gwangju on Monday. The two dogs — Songkang and Gomi — were a present from North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in 2018. They are now owned by the Presidential Archives, which is keeping the dogs at the zoo. Moon Da-hye, Moon’s daughter, started a fundraising campaign using images of the former president and dogs. The money will be donated to a shelter for abandoned pets.[YONHAP]
