Korea Post holds on the top spot on the Korean Customer Satisfaction Index for a 24th straight year. [KOREA POST]
Korea Post topped the Korean Customer Satisfaction Index (KCSI) for the sector for the 24th year in a row in 2022. That result came after Korea Post highlighted 32 innovative tasks on which it collaborated with the public, new businesses and digital service fields.
At the heart of that success is Korea Post’s commitment to implement a high-quality parcel service, ensuring the convenience of its customers.
The state-run Korea Post has been an institute of Korean life for over a century. Since the introduction of the parcel service in 1884, Korea Post has been a key player in the consumer logistics industry by offering the same services on the same terms nationwide, regardless of how rural, coastal or isolated a customer’s parcel needs may be.
Through this comprehensive parcel service, it contributes to the stabilization of public economic life and then promotion of public welfare.
Korea Post seeks to ensure that everybody enjoys the same level of support and service, ensuring that a vision of happiness is delivered across Korea and there are no blind spots in the system.
It has piloted welfare-registered delivery services and partnered with the four major financial groups to ensure that banking information and services are available to people in even in the most alienation areas.
Korea Post also delivered at-home treatment kits to support Covid-19 patients and promoted a joint delivery center with Seoul to resolve the rapid increase in consumer logistics.
Through the preemptive response system that Korea Post has established to prepare for crises, Korea Post was able to manage the piles of parcels that flooded the system due to strikes among private-sector couriers.
To ensure the stability of people’s livelihoods, Korea Post ensure packaged were delivered while settling the difference with couriers through communication and compromise based on mutual trust, enabling the strikes to end.
Based on the vision to make parcel and financial services available to everyone, Korea Post is now pursuing four strategies: Delivering happiness to the people, sound growth, digital postal innovation and ensuring a safe and healthy workplace.
Korea Post will fulfill its duty as a state-owned entity while also offering the best service to meet the needs of the public based on knowledge gained in competitive areas as a leading service industry. By delivering universal service to the public through its network of 3,400 post offices, Korea Post will be able to carry out its vision.
