Members of new virtual girl group MAVE: [METAVERSE ENTERTAINMENT]

The four members of the new virtual girl group MAVE: — MARTY:, TYRA:, ZENA: and SIU: — were unveiled Wednesday.

MAVE: is a four-member virtual act set to debut this year, produced by Metaverse Entertainment, a subsidiary of game publisher Netmarble, owned 50 percent by Netmarble F&C and 40 percent by Kakao Entertainment.

Wednesday's concept photo revealed the four virtual members donning a punk, teenage look iconic to many other K-pop girl groups. The colon in the name of the band and of the bandmates will be a hint to the group's backdrop story, which will be disclosed later, the agency said.

Other details about the members of the members are yet to be disclosed.

Metaverse Entertainment was founded in August 2021, specializing in metaverse-related businesses by the Korean game publisher, headed by Seo Woo-won, the co-CEO of Netmarble F&C.
