Onew of boy band SHINee will hold his first solo concert “Onew 1st Concert ‘O-New-Note’” in Korea on March 4 and 5, his agency SM Entertainment announced Thursday.

The concerts will be held at the Olympic Hall at Olympic Park in Songpa District, southern Seoul. The second day of the concert will also be livestreamed globally through the streaming platform Beyond Live.

After debuting as a member of boy band SHINee in 2008, Onew began his solo career in 2018. He has released two EPs “Voice” (2018) and “Dice” (2022) in Korea, and one full-length album “Life goes on” and one digital single “Dance Whole Day” in Japan in 2022.

Onew also held his first Japanese tour in 2022 under the name “Onew Japan 1st Concert Tour 2022 Life Goes On,” performing in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Aichi and Osaka.

Tickets will be sold through the booking website Yes24, and will be available to fan club members first from Feb. 7 followed by sales to the general public from Feb. 9. Tickets for the concert will be distributed digitally instead of in paper form as a part of the agency’s sustainability movement.

Onew will also hold “O-New-Note” concerts in Tokyo on March 13 and 15.
