Boy band 8TURN's member Myung Ho denied allegations of bullying and warned that legal measures would be taken against those spreading rumors, his agency MHN Entertainment said Tuesday.

Myung Ho has been recently called out online in allegations of bullying, in which an anonymous commenter claimed that Myung Ho was part of a group that verbally harassed other students in high school and that the victim has been receiving mental treatment for seven years and is mentally unable to go to crowded places, as a result of the bullying.

The alleged victim also released graduation photos and other documents to back the accusation.

In a statement released in the band's official fan cafe, the agency said that “after multiple cross-validations and fact checks, the allegations online [against Myung Ho] are clearly fake and are damaging the honor of the artists,” announcing that the agency has already consulted with legal representatives and is currently seeking legal measures.

The company also added that any actions that stir up such malicious rumors or other malicious articles and comments will also be subject to legal consequences.

8TURN, which debuted eight days ago with the EP “TIC TAC,” is the first boy band from the agency famed for singer Chungha. There are eight members in the group: Jae Yun, Kyung Min, Myung Ho, Min Ho, Yoon Sung, Hae Min, Yung Yu and Seung Heon.
