Cast members announced for Netflix film 'My Name is Loh Kiwan'

The movie revolves around Loh Kiwan, a North Korean defector who left to Belgium and is desperately trying to get approved as a refugee, and Marie, a Belgian-Korean former shooting athlete who has lost her will to live. It is said that the movie will focus on the intertwined relationship between the two protagonists which turns romantic.
Song, famous for his recent works in the tvN drama “Vincenzo” (2021) and JTBC hit drama “Reborn Rich” (2022), will play Loh Kiwan, while Choi Sung-eun, popular in the Netflix drama “The Sound of Magic” (2022) and JTBC drama “Beyond Evil” (2021), will star as Marie.
Actor Jo Han-chul, who performed with Song in the TV series “Vincenzo” and “Reborn Rich” and performed with Choi in “The Sound of Magic,” will be performing as Yoonsung, Marie’s father.
Other renowned actors, including Kim Sung-ryung, Lee Il-hwa, Lee Sang-hee and Seo Hyeon-woo, have been confirmed to be starring in the upcoming Netflix movie.
The Netflix movie is based on the novel “I Met Loh Kiwan” (2019) written by author Cho Hae-ji, which has been adapted into a script by the director, Kim Hee-jin. This is the first full-length feature film for Kim.
