The Hanwha Eagles announced Wednesday that rookie pitcher Kim Seo-hyeon has been suspended from spring training after uploading an expletives-laden social media post criticizing the team's coaching staff and fans.

The Eagles announced that Kim, who was the first pick in last year's draft, will be suspended from spring training for three days. The Eagles are likely to fine him as well.

Kim uploaded the post on a personal social media account and screenshots were shared on online baseball communities. Kim admitted to uploading the post, the Eagles said, putting to rest a theory that it may have been uploaded by somebody posing as him.

Kim, who was able to throw over 100 miles per hour while in high school, was given a 500-million-won ($400,000) signing bonus when he was picked by the Eagles last year, the third-highest for a rookie in the history of the Daejeon club.
