Lee Boo-jin's purse sets fashionistas astir

Hotel Shilla chief executive and Samsung scion Lee Boo-jin made a sartorial statement with a certain accessory during a recent Hyundai family wedding.

Lee attended the wedding ceremony of Chung Joon-son, the eldest son on HDC Holdings chairman Chung Mong-gyu, at a church in central Seoul on Saturday.

Something of a fashion icon within the business community, Lee paired a gray cape coat with an open-slit skirt.

She added a bit more flair with a brooch and black leather gloves and boots.

But what really drew public attention when the photos were released was her purse.

The black leather purse with circular details from French label Destree sells for 550 euros (750,000 won) on the design house's online store.

Destree is a fairly new brand that began in 2016, founded by Geraldine Guyot, the wife of Tiffany & Co.'s Alexandre Arnault.
