Seven-member Filipino boy band Hori7on was formed last Sunday after the livestreamed final episode of the K-pop-style audition program “Dream Maker," said K-pop agency MLD Entertainment on Monday.
Jeromy came in first place, with 3.18 million total votes, followed by Marcus, Kyler, Vinci, Reyster, Kim and Winston.
Launched together by Korean agency MLD Entertainment and Filipino media company ABS-CBN, “Dream Maker” is described as a “collaboration between K-pop and P-pop [Pinoy pop].” Korean and Filipino fans voted throughout the program.
Hori7on refers to the seven members who now start their journey at the same line, aiming for a united goal.
Hori7on will first promote in the Philippines until March, appearing on local TV programs and giving performances. The boy band will then move to Korea and prepare for its Korean debut, planned for mid-June this year, said the agency.
