'Killer' by SHINee's Key tops iTunes charts in 20 regions

Boy band SHINee member Key's newest album "Killer" topped iTunes charts in 20 regions, according to the K-pop artist's agency SM Entertainment on Tuesday.
 
"Killer" is No. 1 on the iTunes Top Albums charts of countries such as Mexico, India, Japan, Spain, Chile, Taiwan and Singapore. It is also first on the Worldwide iTunes Albums chart and Japan's Recochoku Daily Album chart as of Tuesday afternoon.
 
"Killer" was released Monday. It is a repackaged album with 11 songs from his second full-length album “Gasoline,” which came out last August, and three new songs: the title track “Killer," and songs “Heartless” and “Easy."
 
Key debuted as a member of boy band SHINee in 2008 with its debut EP “Replay” (2008). The band has released hit songs like “Lucifer” (2010), “Sherlock (Clue + Note)” (2012), “Why So Serious?” (2013), “View” (2015) and “Don’t Call Me” (2021). Key has also acted in musicals like “Bonnie & Clyde” in 2013, “Zorro” in 2014 and “Chess” in 2015. He is active as a regular on tvN’s variety show “Amazing Saturday” (2018-). He started activities as a solo singer in 2018 with the single “Forever Yours” and has since come out with other songs “One of Those Nights” (2018), “Hologram” (2018), “Hate That…” (2021) and “Bad Love” (2021).
