fromis_9 to release its first full-length album in mid-March
fromis_9 will release its first full-length album in mid-March, the girl group's agency Pledis Entertainment confirmed with the Korea JoongAng Daily on Tuesday.
Pledis Entertainment said fromis_9 is currently preparing for its first full-length album. However, no further information, including the release date, has been confirmed.
The group has released five singles and five EPs since debuting as a nine-member group in January 2018, through cable channel Mnet’s audition program “Idol School” (2017). fromis_9 is best known for its hits "Love Bomb" (2018), Fun! (2019) and "We Go" (2021).
Lead vocalist Jang Gyu-ri left the group in July 2022 after deciding not to renew her contract with Pledis Entertainment. This upcoming album will be the group’s first music as an eight-member group.
