SPC Group appointed new leaders of its subsidiaries to accelerate the companies’ innovation and change.

Lee Myung-wook, who served as the Vice President of Paris Croissant, has been appointed as chief executive officer (CEO) of its Chinese corporation. The company sent Lee to China to strengthen its business there as the country relaxes its border restrictions amid the subsiding Covid-19 pandemic.

Lee has been working for SPC since 2018 when he was hired as an executive director to oversee management.

Paris Croissant is wholly owned by Chairman Hur Young-in and his family. The company runs the bakery franchise Paris Baguette and Caffe Pascucci.

BR Korea, which operates Baskin Robbins and Dunkin’, appointed Lee Joo-yun as CEO.

Lee is SPC’s first-ever female CEO.

Lee had worked in SCK Company, primarily known as Starbucks Korea, and also in Hyundai Card to promote their marketing strategies.

SPL, wholly owned by Paris Croissant, appointed Park Won-ho as CEO.

Park has been working for SPC since 1987. He oversaw safety regulations and related management of the group. SPC appointed Park to tighten safety management and oversee labor conditions of its workers.

“The keywords of this reshuffle is innovation and professionalism,” said SPC in a statement. “We will draw out change and innovation through leaders which possess the expertise and experience that each subsidiary needs.”
