Three 10th graders helped arrest a woman in her 30s who allegedly assaulted a foreign student at a subway station.

A foreign student from Myanmar was hit in the face by a Korean woman while walking in a transfer passageway in Singil Station, western Seoul, at 4:20 p.m. on Feb. 14, according to Channel A, a news channel, on Tuesday.

The released footage showed the Myanmar student covering her face in pain after she was apparently struck. The woman walked away at a fast pace.

Three teenagers chased the woman down and stopped her before she got on a train.

The witnesses said that the woman was unable to ask for help and couldn't speak Korean well. They added that they shouted at the woman to get the attention of others.

The woman told the police that she made contact with the woman because "she was in the way," according to reports.

The released footage shows the woman apparently hitting the Myanmar woman, who was passing by her in a passageway.

The police have transferred the case to the prosecutors on Feb. 17.
