Youngbin has been removed from boy band BLANK2Y, the group’s agency Keystone Entertainment said Saturday.

Youngbin, whose real name is Lee Young-bin, was removed from the group after an anonymous online post accused an unnamed boy band member of allegedly physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

Although the post did not name the member or the group, Keystone Entertainment removed Youngbin from BLANK2Y after reviewing the post and the attached photographs.

The agency apologized in an official statement, saying Youngbin will no longer be a part of the nine-member boy group and will not make appearances starting Saturday.

The incident has also been reported to police, according to the original poster on the online community.

Youngbin was on the Mnet audition show “I-LAND” (2020) and debuted as a member of BLANK2Y in May last year.
