BTS's Jimin pre-releases 'Set Me Free Pt.2' from upcoming solo album

BTS's Jimin pre-released his track “Set Me Free Pt.2” from his upcoming first solo album Friday.

“'Set Me Free Pt.2’ is a hip-hop track that contains [the artist’s] determination and will to ditch pain, sadness, emptiness and other inner emotions to march forward freely,” explained the press release.

Jimin will release his first physical solo album “Face” on March 24. He will be the fourth member of the boy band to release a solo album, following J-Hope, Jin and RM.

“'Face’ will be an album which talks about the story of Jimin, who fully faces himself and prepares for a new beginning as Jimin the artist,” said his agency BigHit Music.

Jimin’s past solo releases “Promise” (2018) and “Christmas Love” (2020) originally released via SoundCloud, landed at No. 1 on iTunes in multiple countries on March 7 after the tracks were re-released on music streaming and online music distribution sites.
