Chun Woo-won, a grandson of former president Chun Doo Hwan, was hospitalized while livestreaming himself using drugs live on YouTube at his house in New York.

Chun announced he will “reveal everything” on his social media account around 4 p.m. on Thursday, U.S. time, and began the broadcast. Chun had been posting photos and videos about his family and acquaintances on Instagram since Monday, accusing them of illegally amassing wealth, drug use and sex crimes.

Chun first apologized for his and his family’s misdeeds. He then said he will donate half of his possessions to the public, and made a $52,265 donation to Unicef in real-time.

The grandson criticized his family, saying the “slaughterer” Chun Doo Hwan pardoned himself and so did the politicians and servicepersons who battered and killed many people.

He went on to say that he will be the first to get arrested since he is also among the criminals. He named some of the drugs that he claims to have used, such as LSD and weed, and appeared to start using drugs.

Chun showed signs of hallucinations and began sobbing and begging for his life.

Shortly after, a couple of police and fire vehicles and an ambulance arrived in front of his apartment. The live stream that went on for an hour and a half ended when the authorities entered the house.

Chun was escorted outside on a stretcher and moved to the hospital via ambulance.

The video was removed from YouTube for violating its terms of service.

The New York police declined to provide details on Chun’s status, saying that the case is ongoing.
