BTS's Jimin topped music charts around the world with "Set Me Free Pt.2," a dance track released last Friday as a part of his upcoming solo album "Face" set for release on March 24.

"Set Me Free Pt.2," a melodic hip-hop track accompanied by Jimin's signature modern ballet style choreography, topped the iTunes Top Song charts in 110 regions around the world just a day after its release.

The song also ranked No. 1 song on Japanese music chart Oricon's Daily Digital Single Ranking on Saturday morning.

Jimin's first physical solo album “Face” will be released on Friday. He will appear on U.S. talk show "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Thursday to talk about his new music with the presenter and perform his songs for the first time.

Jimin is the fourth member of BTS to release a solo album, following J-Hope, Jin and RM.

Jimin’s past solo releases “Promise” (2018) and “Christmas Love” (2020) originally released via SoundCloud, landed at No. 1 on iTunes charts in multiple countries on March 7 after they were re-released on music streaming and online music distribution sites.
