Actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin will take legal measures against YouTubers spreading fake news on the internet, the two stars' agencies said Monday.

Last week, a YouTuber uploaded a video titled "Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin divorce in six months of marriage... Shocking!" in which they claimed that Hyun Bin gambled illegally overseas and Son was demanding a divorce because of the financial damage she suffered as a result.

The couple tied the knot on March 31 last year and welcomed a son last November.

Agencies of both stars said that the video was "groundless fake news" and said they are reviewing legal responses.

“We are monitoring the rumors in real time and we plan to take strong legal action,” a spokesperson from Hyun Bin’s agency VAST Entertainment told local news Monday.

Son’s agency Esteem Entertainment also reiterated that the rumors are “obviously fake news” and that they are “constantly monitoring the situation internally and have requested YouTube to delete the videos.”
